I am so happy to see that Steve is no longer associate director at Morning Star, but has established something new. Many years ago I attended the conferences & Steve was one of my favorite speakers. I felt he was truly hearing from the Lord & loved his teachings.
God bless you & your ministry!

Please pray for my family. We have suffered the devastating loss of our 29 yr. old daughter & her infant almost two yrs. ago. We are raising her four year old son. It is a challenge and a blessing.
Dear Mr. Thompson,
I am just about through reading your book A 20th Century Apostle: The Life of Alfred Garr. I found the book interesting as well as informative. I am presently trying to “cap off” my research on a book I am writing The Holiness and Pentecostal Movements in SC Post-Civil War through 1930. You mention the Oliver Gospel Mission in Columbia, SC. I have done quiet a bit of research on the Mission and the activities surrounding the Mission. I have a classic photo of the Garr’s posed with T. J. Mackintosh in April, 1909, in Anderson,SC. This is a rare photo as Macintosh has not been identified by photogragh by any contempory Pentecostal historian. I would greatly appreciate any information you could help me with. My cell phone # is 864-940-5895.
Thank you,
